France News.Net Sunday 5th July, 2009
British Airways believes it will be able to cut capital spending for the financial year 2009/10.
Fewer passengers have caused BA to report a spending cut of up to one fifth.
The airline has cut spending by 20% to £580 million from £725m, and had temporarily stopped its orders for 12 Airbus A380 aircraft.
BA has also announced a 5% drop in passenger traffic for June. Email this story to a friend
