EU speeds up energy efficiencies

To ease the soaring cost of fossil fuels, EU ministers have promised to place energy efficiency at the heart of their goals on climate change.
At an informal meeting during the week, ministers said they wanted to speed up a range of planned measures to encourage energy-efficient consumer utilities, such as lighting and heating.
They will ask the Commission to come up with proposals to improve heating standards in buildings and hurry the change from incandescent light-bulbs to more energy efficient lighting.
The two-day meeting, staged in a large tent in the Saint-Cloud park on the western rim of Paris, was intended as a forum for swapping ideas rather than formal decision-making.
On Saturday, talks will focus on the EU's dependence on foreign energy, on renewable energy and biofuels.

I once critiqued 'Leadership' as the 'BOSS' DIRECTING WORKERS TO PUSH THE STING HARDER IN ORDER TO STRAIGHTEN THE SNAKE SHAPED STRING.
Well the above article is another in a very long list of Leadership Failures!
Self interest? Interests of bribing Groups? Ineptness of Greeds? Failure of the Bosses to listen to the worker suggesting the string be pulled to straighten it?
What even the reason, the list of Successes for the People(s) is getting very short!

Yes serious doubts about the great European dream
We have runaway inflation, a runaway euro, and a slowing economy. Interest rates went up this week. What sort of policies are driving this union and how successful are they? Its time to change them.
